Miss Salinger’s Sense of Snow: In search of her missing daughter, a desperate mother uncovers dark secrets in a Tyrolean mountain village.

Together with her husband Matthi (Robert Stadlober) and their shared daughter, doctor Lucia Salinger (Brigitte Hobmeier) moves to Rotten, the idyllic hometown of her husband. Instead of the hoped for new beginning, however, they are confronted here with the early consequences of the climate catastrophe : The snow that is so important for tourism fails to materialize, which is why they want to make room for another gondola by blowing up the ridge. Instead, the glacier reveals a long-kept secret: the corpse of a former environmental activist and with it, a glimpse of a dark past, which some of the villagers seem to share with their environment and the glacier. When finally also the common daughter of Lucia and Matthi disappears, the newcomers have to deal with the question whether not even higher powers have their hands in the game .
