After the supposedly successful businessman Ahti suffers a heart attack, two women arrive at the hospital, each claiming to be the wife and mother of his child. When the man dies shortly afterwards, it becomes clear that he has not only led a double life for years, but has also put the financial future of both families at risk for his dream of an ecological clothing line. In order to save their inheritance, the two disparate women must come together and not only live under one roof, but also lead their joint company into the future.
Similar to the Spanish drama "The Pier," which also screened at the series camp, "My Husband's Wife" puts one man's double life at the center of dramatic events. But more than the betrayal, this is about the two mismatched women who are each confronted with a second family they thought was impossible. A situation that is also a real challenge for the two leading actresses, which they brilliantly turn into a dramatic home run for the Finnish quality forge YLE.
