The desire expressed in the title of being erased weighs heavily on the fates of three children growing up in extremely precarious circumstances in Montréal. Melissa, Eddy and Karine live in the same apartment block and are surrounded by adults long broken by hardship. The three protagonists are well on their way of slipping away too in this adaptation of the novel, which should leave no one indifferent.
"Wipe Me Away" addresses themes of poverty, violence and neglected childhood.
