Series

The young Shadi is supposed to emigrate from Tehran to Paris together with her mother after she has separated from her husband, Shadi's father. Although she no longer has any contact with him, the young girl then embarks on a road trip to see her father once again.

The search for her father becomes a journey for the young woman to her own roots and to what actually constitutes her Iranian homeland. Together with "Serial Eyes" alumni Yashar Alishenas, director Pouria Takavar shows us Iran through the eyes of young people as a place that has little in common with our ideas of the theocratic military dictatorship.
