For the U.S., showrunner Sam Levinson also incorporated his own experiences, embodied by ex-Disney star Zendaya, who as a teenage drug addict had already won the Emmy for Best Actress in a Leading Role for the first season. Season two was once again one of the big favorites in 2022 and, with its captivating images and matching soundtrack, once again takes us into a teenage universe that parents would rather not know about.
