Romeo and Juliet after the Climate Catastrophe: In the near future of „The Dome”, Anton and Emma live in Worlds that couldn’t be more different. And yet, they still want to come together.
Thomas Seeberg Torjussen is an old series camp acquaintance. Already in 2017 he celebrated with the whimsical "Zombielars" on the Seriencamp his German premiere, now the Norwegian for "The Dome" goes one step further into the future. Here, what apparently only the youth of today is still trying to prevent has come to pass: The climate catastrophe is here. With devastating consequences especially for those who, like young Emma, cannot afford a better life. In the not-so fresh air, life expectancy has dropped drastically while in the gated communities of futuristic domed cities, the upper classes have settled in for an extraordinarily long life span. Among them young Anton, in whose aseptic world even naked bodies are inaccessible. Until, by chance, he meets Emma . Two lives on opposite sides of the climate catastrophe, which nevertheless somehow want to find together.
