AUTEURS MEET ANTHOLOGY - ARTISTIC VISION IN FERDINAND VON SCHIRACHS PUNISHMENT
After FAITH comes PUNISHMENT: Six filmmakers* dedicate themselves, each with their very own artistic vision, to a short story by Ferdinand von Schirach. This means six cinematic perspectives that impress as a highly polished anthological series: Helene Hegemann, Hüseyin Tabak, David Wnendt, Mia Spengler, Patrick Vollrath and Oliver Hirschbiegel give each of the episodes their own signature.
In the context of the Filmfest München STRAFE celebrates its world premiere. In a stage talk, the filmmakers* will give insight into their work on the high-end anthology.
Julia Weigl (Filmfest München) and Gerhard Maier (Seriencamp) will moderate the conversation.

DEUTSCHE SERIEN 2.0 -
A LOOK BEHIND THE SCULPTURES OF 1899
With the series DARK, creative duo Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese revolutionized the German series market and celebrated international success. With their new Netflix mystery series 1899, they go one step further, not least by filming in an LED studio for virtual productions in Babelsberg, also known as "Volume" for short.
Director, producer and showrunner Baran bo Odar and actor Andreas Pietschmann will give insights into the development, preparation as well as the filming of 1899 and also present an exclusive look behind the scenes of the highly anticipated series.
Julia Weigl (Filmfest München) and Gerhard Maier (Seriencamp) will moderate the talk.
