SERIENCAMP CONFERENCE offers professional European writers the opportunity to present their series ideas in the development phase.
WRITERS' VISION PITCH provides writers and creative producers with a platform to showcase high-quality dramas, comedies, short formats, and transmedia projects to a professional audience. This opportunity allows them to engage in discussions with potential partners, producers, broadcasters, and streamers, collaboratively developing and realizing innovative ideas.
Our jury selects eight outstanding international projects, whose representatives will present their fictional co-production series live on stage to a selected audience. They will have the chance to present their ideas directly in Cologne.
Additionally, up to 20 projects will be included in our digital project database, which will be accessible to accredited conference visitors three weeks prior to the event. Through the platform, meetings with the project representatives can be arranged.
WHO IS ELIGIBLE TO PARTICIPATE?
Authors and producers who are the creators and/or owners of the intellectual property being presented. Projects adapting existing ownership rights will only be considered if all rights are cleared.
The presentation at the Writers’ Vision Pitch must be done by the project's authors.
WHAT TYPES OF SERIES ARE ELIGIBLE?
Anything is possible! In the Writers' Vision Pitch, there are no creative limits. Whether it's the next blockbuster series with a multimillion-dollar budget, a quirky high-concept comedy, an arthouse miniseries, or a genre-crossing transmedia crime drama – diversity is welcome. We encourage being innovative and thinking outside the box.
