Nina Peters studied Theatre, Film, and Television Studies, German Studies, and Art History in Cologne and Rome. After many years in TV distribution and various international positions, including at BBC Worldwide in London, Nina joined the Studio Hamburg Production Group in 2015.

There, she developed projects and strategies for the digital age, from web series to smart TV apps – passionate about new ways of financing and the diverse possibilities of storytelling. As the Managing Director of the production company AlwaysOn Production, a joint venture between Studio Hamburg Production and the agency HitchOn, she focused on developing digital formats with a strong emphasis on target audiences and distribution.

Today, Nina is the Managing Director of ndF, the Hamburg office of the production company ndF, one of the largest independent film and TV production companies in Germany. The ndF Group has a broad portfolio, ranging from "Der Schwarm," the international adaptation of the global bestseller by Frank Schätzing, to various European co-productions such as "Dan Sommerdahl," to nationally and internationally popular series like "Der Bergdoktor," "Die Bergretter," "Morden im Norden," and the true crime classic "Aktenzeichen XY… ungelöst." The focus in Hamburg is on fiction serial formats, innovatively and target-audience oriented. Strong IPs and broad exploitation through optimal partnerships, such as international co-productions, are important in this regard.
