After studying Screenwriting in the UK, Nils worked as a writer and script editor on several short films which were nominated for BAFTA New Talent Award, among others. From 2017-22, he studied “film producing” at Filmakademie Baden-Wuerttemberg. In that time, he produced the “German Documentary Award” nominated documentary SUMMERWAR (2019) and the feature film VIVA FOREVER (2021) which premiered at the “New German Cinema” competition at Filmfest Munich. The spec-commercial TOOLS FOR LIFE (2019), where Nils wrote the screenplay for, was nominated for “First Steps Award” in 2020. After participating at “Berlinale Talents”(2022), Nils worked as a producer at Syrreal Entertainment in Berlin, where he produced the thriller series ODERBRUCH (2024) together with his colleague Max Breuer. At this point, Nils is working as creator and headwriter on the comedy-drama series THE DINOSAUR CLUB (2025), which is currently being directed by Lutz Heineking jr. in Belgium and Germany. Since 2024, Nils works as a freelance writer in Cologne.
