Jorgo Narjes is a German-Greek film producer, born in Cologne in 1991. His bachelor's degree in media and cultural studies at Bauhaus University Weimar was followed by film production studies at Tisch School of the Arts (New York University) and Goldsmiths College in London. After film school, he produced commercials, music videos and the multiple award-winning art film REBIRTH IS NECESSARY (directed by Jenn Nkiru) for the international production company Iconoclast in London, which was shown at numerous film festivals as well as exhibited at the Tate Modern.
In2018 Narjes moved to X Filme, where he realized, among others, the first German Netflix film, ISI & OSSI (director: Oliver Kienle) or the German-Italian co-production DER GÖTTLICHE ANDERE (director: Jan Schomburg). He is currently producing the anthology series ZEIT VERBRECHEN (director: Jan Bonny, Helene Hegemann, Mariko Minoguchi, Faraz Shariat) for Paramount+ based on the successful ZEIT podcast.
