Elsa, born in Berlin in 1994, started to study journalism in 2013. After the 3rd semester, which focussed on FILM, she transferred to the University of Applied Sciences Berlin to study directing for her bachelor's degree. With her short "OH SH*T!"(2020), she celebrated not only her degree but also great international success. She then completed her directing internship at Studio Babelsberg. For her Master's degree, she went to Hamburg Media School. "How to Bury a Fish" was her award-winning graduation film. Her art is a declaration of love to the genre of tragicomedy and to feminism, to intersectionality, breaking taboos and a questioning of (one's own) privileges.
