Anna Phelan is the Head of Development at Novel where she leads a team to find and develop bold narrative stories that are audio-first but with a strong focus on adaptation. Before Novel she was at TED for 8 years. As Director of Programming she oversaw marketing and programming strategy for the TED Audio Collective. She also scouts podcast IP for clients in the film and TV space with Conner Literary in L.A.
