The future of series in the streaming age will once again be on display in Cologne in 2025, and, thanks to the internationally significant accompanying professional conference, it will also be partly shaped here. From June 3 to 6, 2025, the Seriencamp Festival will open its doors for the eleventh time, while the Seriencamp Conference will once again welcome international industry professionals from June 3 to 5. This is made possible with the support of the two main funding partners, Film- und Medienstiftung NRW and the Staatskanzlei NRW, who play a crucial role in making Seriencamp Festival and Conference one of the most important meeting points for the German and international series industry in its second decade.
With a sold-out conference and over 800 industry visitors last year, the Seriencamp Conference was able to further expand its position as Germany's leading platform for the series industry. The public festival for all series fans from North Rhine-Westphalia also saw impressive growth and will again showcase numerous national and international series premieres and their creators and stars in 2025.
Seriencamp Conference with ZDF Studios as Main Partner
Seriencamp Conference continues its successful trajectory: ZDF Studios has once again been secured as the main partner. The professional conference is where the future of series is decided, bringing together experts from the international industry in Cologne to discuss current trends and developments. Topics such as artificial intelligence in film and series, project financing options, international co-productions, and many more will be explored in think tanks, workshops, and panel discussions.
"In 2025, there’s still much for the industry to talk about: from the growing importance of co-productions to the reform of film funding, from sustainable disruption through technological innovations to the new market situation, it’s clear that addressing the most pressing questions is more important than ever. And there’s no better place for that than Seriencamp Conference in June 2025."

In addition to the stage program, the project market "Story Exchange" offers pitching events and networking opportunities for producers, writers, and creators to present their ideas to various international companies. With a focus on fostering collaboration and co-production opportunities, Story Exchange is an excellent opportunity for anyone looking to establish themselves in the industry or take their projects to the next level. Creatives can submit series concepts from now on.
With its extensive program, the conference has long been a must-attend event for professionals and creatives from home and abroad. Early bird accreditations are now available.
