Call for projects 2023: Closed now

In its latest edition, the SERIENCAMP CONFERENCE once again offers the popular pitching sessions. Professional creatives from all over Europe have the chance to present their series projects and ideas to an audience of industry experts, both on location and online. It is a chance to meet future business partners. Projects can be submitted until March 15, 11 pm CET.

Call for projects 2023: At the SERIENCAMP CONFERENCE, series ideas can become reality. Whether drama or documentary, high-end or diy: three different pitching formats

An expert jury will select eight projects per pitching format from all entries, which will be presented on stage on June 14th and 15th during the SERIENCAMP CONFERENCE in Cologne. Another 10 to 20 projects will additionally be included in the pitch pool - the digital platform for project presentations. This allows series creators to arrange meetings with project developers, which can take place either online or on location in Cologne.

Depending on the subject area and the project, applications can be submitted for three different pitching formats:

CO-PRODUCTION PITCH

Fiction series projects of almost any genre* can be submitted to the Co-Production Pitch by production or distribution companies. From the selected projects, which are presented to producers, distributors, investors and potential partners on stage, one series idea will receive the Seriencamp Co-Pro Award, which is endowed with 10.000€, 5.000€ will be given to the winner in cash and 5.000€ in the form of services through YAMDU.

*Documentary series projects turn to the Docu-Series Pitch

WRITERS' VISION PITCH

High-end drama, comedy, short form or transmedia series: Eight series projects in pre-development and early stages will be pitched by writers to an industry audience of decision makers and financiers. For writers or producers, the WRITERS' VISION PITCH is the ideal platform to present their vision and find potential series partners.

DOCU-SERIES PITCH

Anyone with a great idea for a docu-series can submit their project to this pitching format for the first time this year. Eight ideas will be invited by the expert jury to bring them together with creators, production companies, clients and financiers. From all projects, the jury will select one docu-series to receive the Seriencamp Docu Award 2023, supported by Bavaria Fiction, which is endowed with 5,000€.
